Worked example
From mcg per kg to the line on the syringe.
Bella is a 30 kg Labrador. Fictional Peptide X is compounded at 2 mg/mL: 2,000 mcg per mL, or 20 mcg per U-100 syringe unit. The platform runs this math for every patient at the vial strength our compounding partner dispenses, and prints the units on the client’s dosing card.

Safety and screening

Screen before the first dose
- Neoplasia
- Skip growth and repair peptides with any history of cancer or an unexplained mass.
- Endocrine
- Avoid growth hormone peptides in diabetes and hyperadrenocorticism. Not for cats.
- Copper
- Assess copper storage risk before GHK-Cu or GLOW, especially Bedlington Terriers, Labradors, Westies, and Dobermans.
- Life stage
- No data in pregnancy, lactation, or patients under 12 months.
What owners may notice
- Injection site
- Redness, mild swelling, or a small sterile lump. Rotate sites. In cats avoid the space between the shoulder blades.
- Stomach
- Nausea, soft stool, or a drop in appetite.
- Energy
- Brief lethargy or, occasionally, restlessness in the first days.
- GH axis
- Increased hunger or thirst. Watch glucose in any patient at risk for diabetes.
The platform applies these rules on every patient and records an outcome baseline at intake. Pick one validated measure before the first dose, such as CBPI, LOAD, FMPI, CCDR, or WSAVA body and muscle condition, and recheck with the same measure at 4 to 6 weeks.

Your client, per prescription, in their own nudaPETides portal. There is no plan or subscription for prescriptions.
Which species?+
Dogs and cats. Some peptides are dogs only, and the platform enforces it. Each monograph lists species.
How are doses calculated?+
By weight, in mcg, converted to mL and U-100 syringe units at the partner's vial strength. Any override is logged with your initials.
What does it cost my practice, and which states do you serve?+
We walk through pricing and confirm availability for your state on your setup call.
How do I report an adverse event?+
Tell us right away so we can coordinate with the compounding pharmacy, and report it to FDA on Form FDA 1932a.
