Wolverine for veterinarians

Overview

Wolverine combines BPC-157 and TB-500 in one prescription. BPC-157 is studied for gut, tendon, and mucosal repair. TB-500, a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta 4, is studied for cell migration into injured soft tissue.

There are no published studies of the combination itself. The rationale rests on the evidence for each component and their different mechanisms.

Mechanism of action

01BPC-157 modulates the nitric oxide system and drives angiogenesis at injury sites.
02TB-500 binds G-actin and enables cell migration into damaged tissue.

Dosing and administration

Starting, maintenance, and loading doses are calculated in the platform for the patient’s weight band, at the vial strength our compounding partner dispenses, and drawn to U-100 syringe units for the client’s dosing card. Any override is logged with your initials.

Follow up

CBPI or LOAD for pain and mobility. Recheck gait and the surgical site. Measure at baseline and recheck at 4 to 6 weeks with the same measure.
